10 essentials

Hey fellas..quick list of my 10 essentials of the season.

1.Socks. loose em. Wear your brogues, loafers, and canvas sneakers without socks. Show off those ankles kid.

2. Fresh cut.
Guys, ditch the salon and get your madhood back at your local barber shop. Ask for a #2 on the sides, taper in the back, and scissor length on top. Then, side part your hair and clean up your act. Facial hair is always acceptable.

3. Brogues.
A good pair of wingtips will be perfect for any season. Wear them with a suit, jeans, or even shorts. Mark Mcnairy, Alden, and Cole Haan are a few of my favorite brands.

4. Urban slim fit chinos by Jcrew.
These cotton based trousers should be ones "go to" pant of the season. Pick out the basic khaki and navy colors, then go for something fun like green apple.

5. Short sleeve henleys.
I recently picked up two henleys by 5|48 and I love them. However, the garments are a little high maintenance by being handwash/dry clean only.

6. "SAY IT WIT YO CHEST"
Give that summer blazer a lift with a bright pocket square for the season.

7. Cash.
Lease to own isn't a good look when it comes to ones wardrobe. Pay cash and stay out of trouble.

8. Eyewear.
Accessories are extremely important during the spring and summer. With the tempature rising we are unable to use our layering techniques. This is where eyewear plays a big role in our spring/summer look. Grab a pair of Garrett Leight sunglasses from my favorite shop http://www.blackoptical.com

9. The perfect summer song.

10. Gym membership.
It's time to loose that winter weight, or for some of you guys it's time to loose the last few winter's weight. Sadly there is no short cut or magic pill. Lets put in the work..eat right, lift with good form and bring on the cardio.

What is the importance of quality in eyewear? "Quality is everything with eyewear. We spend money on quality jackets and get them tailored to fit, however a cheap pair of frames can totally ruin ones look."

microbiology student at the University of Alberta, Josh Le, wore the same pair of raw denim jeans for 15 months without washing them and then tested their bacterial content.He tested them again two weeks after washing them and found the bacterial content to be much the same."This shows that, in this case at least, the bacteria growth is no higher if the jeans aren't washed regularly," said Rachel McQueen, a professor of textile science, who worked with Le on the informal scientific experiment.”
